Adrian will lead your Yogyakarta-based English language WhatsApp group. Your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills will be supported. There will be multiple voice notes and messages daily, videos, reading materials, everyday topics, and vocabulary building. Daily chat and consultation, morning, afternoon, evening.
Adrian will keep you busy and interested! He will be available to answer your questions about grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. You help set the direction and content of the consultation, And you must be ready to answer HIS questions!
This support is customized to the individual members' needs, interests, and their level of ability. The content is completely flexible and responsive. The material, pace, intensity, and seriousness are all tailored to each group's collective wishes. Your language mentor is there all the time in your smartphone. This is about having fun too!
You will have access to your language mentor every day. There is no set "class" time. You choose: a total of 1, 2 or 3 hours consultation and interaction per week spread over the seven days. You pay only for Adrian’s time. The maximum group size is six. The total fee is the same for 1 member as it is for 6 members. The cost of Adrian’s time each week is shared between the members of the group making this language mentoring approach affordable and effective.
WhatsApp gives you a permanent record of all learning activities, all messages and chats, all advice, all corrections, all examples, all links, all videos, all reading materials. You can listen and review the materials over and over again. You can ask follow-up questions.
For groups based in Yogyakarta, there will be occasional meet-ups for coffee or lunch.

BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS: Adrian B. Coen B.Ed, Dip.TEFL., Dip.ESP. was born in the U.K. in 1964 and was educated at Cambridge University. He has also worked in Japan and Australia. He has been living in Yogyakarta since 2003 and is a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business at Gadjah Mada University. He also works as a translator and editor. He has almost 30 years' teaching experience in Indonesia and is a fluent speaker of Bahasa Indonesia.
